Vaccinations for adults with health conditions

It can be harder for people with certain health conditions and those having certain medical treatment to fight off infections.

Getting your free winter vaccintations can:

  • help to reduce your risk of getting severe symptoms.
  • help you to recover more quickly if you catch COVID-19 or Flu.
  • protect against different strains of viruses.

Make sure you are fully vaccinated to help you stay well this winter.

You can get the free COVID-19 vaccination if you are under 65 years old and in a clinical risk group, as defined in Tables 3 or 4 in the COVID-19 chapter of the Green Book.

Speak to your GP surgery or specialist if you have a health condition and you’re not sure if you’re eligible for the covid vaccine. The UK Health Security Agency has more information about this.

We want to make it as easy as possible for eligible people in Lancashire & South Cumbria to get their free vaccinations.

There are several ways you can get vaccinated:

  • Book an appointment online or call 119.
  • Find a pharmacy offering walk-in COVID-19 vaccination services.
  • Visit the vaccination bus or pop-up clinic in your local community from the list on the right. More locations, dates and times will be added as more clinics are arranged, so check back for updates.
