Digital support for patients referred to elective care
Our digital team is working with several organisations to offer digital support to people who have been referred to elective care services. Elective care covers a broad range of non-urgent services, usually delivered in a hospital setting from diagnostic tests and scans to outpatient care, surgery, and cancer treatment.
Our main partners
We have commissioned Age UK Lancashire to deliver this service to people who are referred to our four main Trusts in Lancashire and South Cumbria.
Age UK Lancashire have recruited five digital health navigators, who have participated in the Digital Unite training and ICB coaching training to enable them to support people more effectively.
