Practice Succession Planning
We all want our health and social care services to be able to meet our needs now and in the future. We are all working to continually offer safe, compassionate, and high-quality care for all our patients but we know we are all facing new and unprecedented challenges that means we need to review and continually change the way we work. We need to work in a different way to deliver care within the resources we have.
The aim of Practice Succession Planning is to support General Practice with sustaining their workforce, whether this the GP Partners, who of course hold the contract and their staff whether this is key leads in the Practice or their main workforce, all are equally as important to sustain, retain and grow their own teams. These web pages are designed to provide some of the tools GP Practices will need to help in their succession planning
GP Practice Toolbox
This web page is a "Toolbox" of options and resources available for GP Partners to manage their own succession planning and make informed choices.
“History has taught us that collaboration creates more cohesive working than a competitive marketplace because you are all aiming to achieve the same objective or goal.
Competition is not inherently bad, but competition that holds us back from achieving our greatest potential is because it naturally creates divisiveness”
