The ICB forms a SEND partnership with each of these local authorities and provider trusts to ensure that health commissioning is effective in meeting the health needs of children and young people with SEND. Each SEND partnership has a plan of how they will work together to support children and young people with SEND.
Each local authority has a ‘local offer’. This describes the help and support available in their area for children and young people aged 0 to 25 years with SEND and their families. The information should cover education, health and social care support and services.
